As a Tuskegee Airman, his rank was USAF 2nd Lt Edward C. Gleed (Lawrence, Kansas). He served in three (3) wars: World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War.

 

He completed his USAF career as Colonel Edward C. Gleed, after nearly 30 years and 6,000 flying hours in the USAAC and the USAF.

The Edward Gleed Project, Inc. (TEGPI) honors the life and legacy of Colonel Gleed.
